Story: A group of travelers descends on The Park to witness one last Firefall. They come from different backgrounds and walks of life, but their paths will crash together in hilarious ways, as a film crew captures their crazy antics. The characters comprised of: Scottish 'Free' Climbers, a disgraced outdoor survival television host and his nephew, a former welter-weight bodybuilding champion who's let himself go, a dysfunctional family in denial, Park Rangers, a hiding hippie who has been living in The Park for years, and a Mutant Bear will experience amazing, terrifying and hilarious situations as they discover their true character and values on their way to the final Firefall. I always look for movies that preteen, teens and adults will findhumorous and that I don't have to be embarrassed by overt language orsexual tones. This movie is very funny, as well as clean! The story hada redeeming quality and we enjoyed the interaction of the characters.In this day and age where so many movies are remakes or unoriginalideas, it's great to see creative and unique storytelling on the bigscreen. A variety of travelers descend on Yosemite National Park forone last Firefall, where burning logs are pushed over a cliff in abeautiful, burning waterfall. These travelers find more than justburning embers as they take on the "Big" wilderness, life-changingfamily dynamics, and one grumpy Beast of a Bear. You will find yourselfbelly-laughing as you relate this adventure to some of your own familyvacations. There are lots of very funny moments throughout thisdelightful film!

This is truly a movie for everyone...but only if you like to laugh andhave great time! I loved Firefall for so many reasons so here are but afew... The characters are well written, distinct and unique- each onebrings a special "spin" to the story The humor ranges from slightlyrisqué' to 5th-grade potty---but so funny and so in keeping with thestory and characters! Loved the scenery and the animals-and yes, theytoo were hysterical at times... Would I see Firefall again? Ohyea...would I recommend it to others? Oh yea... Great job Matt and GarySconce and all the incredible talent....WINNER!
Oh, and another thing...DVD/soundtracks will make great gifts!

As I'm typing this, I've had the pleasure of being a part of tendifferent movies so far, so I know a thing or two about what goes onbehind the scenes and in front of the camera on set. Firefall could'veeasily been premiered in Tinsel Town. EASILY. The amount of creativityand professionalism blew me away. The actors, every single one of them,did an absolutely professional job. One thing, however, is that I wishI could've connected better with the characters. There were so manyawesome characters and subplots that I felt like I lost tracksometimes. Having said that, there could be so many epic sequels anddare I say prequels to this. Firefall has THAT much potential.
